D1 Sports Academy Mission Statement:
 

Our Mission is to introduce to a multitude of athletics, leadership, and mental aspects of the most up to date training philosophies that will enable an athlete or coach to reach their maximum level of performance. Athletes will be instructed and mentored on how to achieve their PEAK performance from our personal training sessions.      Every student-athlete-coach-parent will be empowered in mind, body and spirit.  We will encourage and uplift participants allowing them to experience our heart's passion.  Our sessions will be limited to a specific number of athletes to enable them to gain the highest level of personal instruction from our training expertise.  The D1 Sports Academy is an outreach program targeted to local school districts and corporations.  One of our main focus's is to include individuals, of all age groups, so they may experience not only the Siena Heights phenomenon, but assist in building long long lasting relationships with individuals through the Sports Academy.     The D1 sports Academy is on the forefront of leadership in the area of function training and advanced concepts of personal training.   Our many years of expertise in coaching and training will make our dream reality.     The highly acclaimed Gray Institute in Adrain, MI will be utilized in assisting and advising our Academy.  Working with Gary Gray, PT and his staff over the years has allowed us to tap into his 30+ years of international functional training expertise.  By incorporating the Gray Institutes' cutting edge instructional and training videos, we are able to make the D1 Sports Academy the most current and desired in its class.  We continually seek to develop new corporate sponsors to partner with us to assist in our training sessions as well.      We are preparing Athletic/Sports/Training seminars that will be available to everyone.  We have retained professional speakers to visit the university and share their expertise on functional training.  The topics will vary depending on our clients needs.  Our thoughts and ideas are endless.      Finally, it is our goal to make our D1 Sports Academy synonymous with excellence.
